Innoverkostot

Innoverkostot is backed by the national theme coordination project for Innovation and Competence Networks; INNOVATE (ERDF). The project is implemented by LAB University of Applied Sciences, and the coordinating institution for the theme is the South Savo Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY Centre).

Innoverkostot propel collaboration between the research and business sectors. Our activities support industry-driven renewal of expertise, fostering the growth of businesses. Additionally, Innoverkostot aim to disseminate information about the results of the Innovation and Competence Networks theme and support projects that have received funding.

Through the Innovation and Competence Networks theme, we promote research and development investments, particularly encouraging the transition to green technologies and digital transformation. The theme complements ecosystem agreements in university cities and the smart specialization strategies of regions, contributing to knowledge- and innovation-driven growth.
